Who we are

Forty-two years of work you can still walk through.

Tim Brown started building in 1984. The shop sits at Rosehill Plantation in Natchez, and the work has never moved far from it: custom homes, remodels, cabinetry and insulation across Rapides and Natchitoches parishes.

Ethan Brown is the second generation on the same crew. The person who talks to you about the job is the person who builds it, and he will still be here when you call in five years.

The shop

We make the cabinets ourselves.

A CNC router, not a catalogue. It runs in our shop most days of the week, cutting door blanks for the jobs we are framing.
Drawn, cut, finished, hung. All of it by the same crew that built the room around it. Very few builders in this part of the state still do that.
No twelve-week lead time.A change on Tuesday is a conversation, not a change order that pushes your kitchen into next season.

How it goes

A build you can actually follow.

Most people have never built a house before. Here is the whole thing, with nothing hidden in the middle.

Sit down and talk

What you want, where it is going, and what it actually costs to build here. If the budget and the plan do not line up, you hear that in the first conversation rather than three months in.

Plans and selections

Drawings, cabinet layouts and finishes. Because we build the millwork ourselves, it gets designed alongside the room instead of ordered to fit it afterwards.

A real number

A written price against the drawings and the selections, not a range. Allowances are spelled out so you know which numbers are fixed and which depend on what you pick.

Build

Our own crew frames, insulates, builds the cabinets and sets the trim. Fewer subcontractors means fewer gaps, and the number you call is the same one the whole way through.

Walk it, and stand behind it

We walk the finished job with you and work the punch list. After that we still answer the phone. Forty-two years in one area means reputation is the only advertising that has ever mattered.

Let us talk about what you want to build.

The first conversation costs nothing, and you get a straight answer about what it takes to build it here.
